OBD Diagnostics for Renault is an independent OBD2 diagnostic app. It is not an official Renault app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Renault Group.
The app may process OBD2 live vehicle data, selected vehicle model/year/engine data, service tracking entries, Pro unlock state, and tester unlock code result locally on the device.
We do not operate a backend server for this app. The app does not send OBD live data, fault codes, service records, location data, or tester codes to our own server.
The app may request Bluetooth, nearby devices, WiFi/network, internet, and location-related permissions depending on Android version and adapter type. Android may require location permission for Bluetooth scanning. The app does not share your live location with other users.
The app may offer Pro features through Google Play billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. During closed testing, tester codes may unlock Pro features locally for test purposes.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share OBD data, service records, or tester codes with other users. Google Play and platform services may process purchase, installation, crash, diagnostics, or account-related information according to Google policies.
The app is an informational diagnostic aid. It is not a professional service tool and must not be treated as a replacement for certified automotive diagnosis. Do not rely only on the app for safety-critical decisions.
If the vehicle shows warnings related to brakes, steering, airbags, safety systems, overheating, high voltage, fuel leakage, severe engine faults, or drivability issues, stop safely and consult a qualified professional service.
Clearing diagnostic trouble codes without fixing the underlying cause may hide an active fault.
The app is not directed to children and does not intentionally collect data from children.
